I take a strategic approach to the grand task of creative problem solving. The objective is to understand the landscape of the problem thoroughly and solve it with effective uniqueness. I think visually. I write intuitively. I also believe in taking chances. It's a process and it takes some time to do it right, but the results are worth it. It's an art.

Directed a small talented staff on various creative fronts — such as the the fast pace of a fierce telecom/satellite/cable war, a major re-branding of a nationally respected cancer center and moving the turnstiles at the zoo. Created integrated campaigns with a broadcast dominant workload.

Provided in-house creative direction and marketing guidance for a rich media start–up. Created GUI, icons, widgets, micro-sites, sales presentations. Gained valuable experience in the creation of targeted interactive rich media content.

Created several national broadcast spots and produced creative for a steady flow of print and outdoor assignments. Designed in–store displays, direct mail, collateral and static/animated banners for the web.

1994–1996
Art Director, National Football League Properties, New York, NY
Created national branding campaigns for the NFL in both broadcast and print. Developed trade and retail print ads for NFL licensed product. Created team–specific and special–event advertising for the Super Bowl, Pro Bowl and the NFL Experience. Gained first-hand insight into the complexities of professional sports marketing.
